Demonstrate Awareness of Chain of Responsibility Regulations

Details of the Course:

The Demonstrate Awareness of Chain of Responsibility Regulations course offers students the knowledge and skills they need to follow, apply and identify the chain of responsibility regulations that apply to the individual’s particular job role. Students learn the territory or state chain of responsibility regulations and the penalties and duties that relate to their specific job role. The course also helps students learn to identify the responsible persons and parties within the chain of responsibility, and they also learn key features of these regulations, as well as how those features relate to individual job roles.

When students take the Demonstrate Awareness of Chain of Responsibility Regulations course, they will learn how to apply chain of responsibility regulations to their own job function and role. They learn to follow appropriate workplace chain of responsibility procedures and policies while on the job. This course also teaches students about breaches of legislation on the job, how to identify them, and how to prevent them. Students are taught how to complete workplace chain of responsibility documentation and discover examples of chain of responsibility non-compliance.

Benefits of the Course:

When students take the Demonstrate Awareness of Chain of Responsibility Regulations course and successfully complete it, they will have the benefit of being given a Statement of Attainment for the Demonstrate Awareness of Chain of Responsibility Regulations course. This course often fulfills some of the requirements needed for students who are pursuing Certificates, such as a Certificate IV in Driving Operations or a Certificate II in Warehouse Operations.

After students have completed this course, they will have essential knowledge, such as knowledge of territory and state regulations, knowledge of applicable workplace procedures, and knowledge of what constitutes a penalty, a breach and a duty. Students will have the skills to find chain of responsibility information on the job, the skills to take action when potential breaches have been identified and the skills to implement actions that help to prevent potential beaches of the chain of responsibility regulations on the job.
